Orthodontists

Dr Petrina Kat – BDS, BScDent, DClinDent (Adel)

Dr Kat decided that she wanted to be orthodontist after going through orthodontic treatment as a teenager to correct her crooked teeth. After graduating from Dentistry from the University of Adelaide in 1995, she worked as a General Dentist for 2 years. She was immediately accepted into the Orthodontic Specialist Training programme in 1998 and completed her training in 2000. She has been in private orthodontic practice since then.

She has been involved in teaching Orthodontics to Undergraduate Dental Students and to Hygiene students at TAFE. She recently stopped teaching to concentrate on her other career, being a Mum.

Dr Kat enjoys working with children and adults of all ages and finds great satisfaction in seeing how much more confident her patients are at the end of treatment.

Dr Darren Di Iulio -  BDS, BScDent (Hons), D.Clin.Dent, MOrth RCS (Edin), MRACDS (Ortho)

After obtaining his general dental qualifications at the University of Adelaide, Dr Di Iulio worked as a general dentist in private practice for 10 years. During this time he was also involved with teaching of undergraduate dental students at the University. After further training at the University of Adelaide, he specialised in Orthodontics.

Dr Di Iulio joined his wife Dr Petrina Kat in specialist orthodontic practice at Campbelltown in 2007. With his extensive general dental practice experience, his special interests include treatment of adult patients in combination with a restorative dentist as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
